Christmas 2014

This Christmas sickness decided to hit me and the kids :(  We all got the flu the weekend before Christmas. It was awful! I still have a cold for the end of it, but its almost gone. Finally! We did not see Santa this year but we did drive around looking at lights. We also did not make gingerbread houses this year but we did decorate some cute little Christmas trees.

My cute Isaiah getting help from Grandma to make his tree

So focused

He is still wearing his Halloween costume lol

Finished!

Christmas Eve we had our regular family party. We have food and play games. We read about the birth of Jesus and the little kids act out the Nativity Scene. I love our traditions. The cousins open gifts from each other and all of us siblings do too.

You cant tell but I am way sick in this picture lol

Noah playing pool with the big boys.

Isaiah got a fun new elmo doll from one of his cousins, then he drove it around in Angalees stroller.
After the party I let the kids open there pj's Noah got Spiderman Elijah got Batman and Isaiah got cars pj's "they were all out of elmo" We put cookies out and milk for Santa

He came! :)

Christmas morning James and his youngest sister Danielle came over bright and early to open presents with the kids. I was up at 6:30 just waiting for them to get up and run out and nothing was happening. Finally at 8:00 I was like okay they need to get up lol

Looks like they were good enough this year for brand new bikes :)

After the present fun we all watch a Christmas movie and hung out for a while.

Aside from being sick it was a nice Christmas day.
Merry Christmas and have a great New Year!

Thanksgiving 2014

This Thanksgiving was a real eye opener for me. I have not fully taken in the separation of me and James yet because we do so much together with the kids and we are good friends but its been almost 2 years now and this is the second Holidays we have done apart. This year I had the kids for Thanksgiving and it was really nice to spend it with my whole family and the kids. It was however hard on me. I am really good at keeping things going for myself, I don't cry and I don't dwell. I just couldn't help it this year. We did a big family photo and I did not handle it very well. "lets just say it was very emotionally draining." I have not been faced with permanent things yet "like a family photo with my kids and with out James" These are the memories we will have now and It really breaks my heart not just for me but for the kids. I just hope the kids feel all the love from the both of us threw the Holidays and threw the hard time as a family.

On a less personal note. I took a few pictures of our Thanksgiving day.

They seriously don't hold still for pictures "at all!"
                                    See what I mean lol

I have to hold them still :)
                                              I love my goof balls!
All 18 of the grandkids. There are so many now! Ages 15 - 2 months

I Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving !

Happy Halloween! 2014

Not too many pictures this time around but we had a fun Halloween. I had a house full of super heros. Me and James took them to a random neighbor hood this year. We wanted to pick one that had houses really close together so they would be able to hit a lot of houses before they got tired. I was really happy with Noah and how well he did. He was so polite when getting the candy and he did not complain about anything. Elijah on the other hand lol wow, he didn't have very much fun. He kept getting mad at his costume and he would go inside peoples houses. He kept running ahead and we would have to get mad at him so he would throw a tantrum. I think he might have been tired or something. Isaiah was pretty good for his first time going to doors. He was a little slow going to each house but he was so adorable. He would say trick or treat and he would say happy Halloween and he would even say good night to people. They had a good time though and got a lot of candy. The next day they ate so much candy but I figure they only do this once a year so have at it. Hope every one had a fun Halloween.

October

My family went from no birthdays in this month to three. My Isaiah had his next up was my nephew Lincoln. I actually have pictures from his party. He turned the big 1.

His adorable cake. It was a batman theme.

Opening his gifts.

                                                                He really dug in

Next up will be my nephew Carson who is turning 2 also this year. I love how close my family is and even the cousins all of them have someone they can play with.

I took Isaiah to his 2 year Dr. appointment. He is right in line with everything hes healthy hes growing and I couldn't ask for anything more. He is caught up on shots so they did not have to give him any "lucky kid" and even his flu shot was just the nose mist. So he had a really good visit!

The kids have been having fun with there activities at day care. The twins got to visit a pumpkin patch for a field trip. I was not there so no pictures but they picked out some fun pumpkins and decorated them to bring home.

Noah's on the left, Elijah Right. So cute.

Isaiah will be painting his pumpkin and also making a Halloween shirt at daycare. I will post them when they are finished.
The kids also got to have some fun with there grandma Quintana "James mom" and paint some fun spiderman and elmo pumpkins.
I seriously have the cutest kids :)

My shop cat Charlie is even joining in on the October festivity's

Hes in total shock with the outfit can you tell ;)
The kids can hardly contain them self's for Halloween.  Noah everyday asks if we can go trick or treating. Or he asks where his costume is. I'm sure this should be a lot of fun this year. And Isaiah will be doing his first actual trick or treating. Cant wait!

2 Years old

My little man Isaiah turned 2 yesterday! He is turning into a little boy before my eyes its amazing. He is such a sweet little guy and he is talking so much way more then the twins did at this age. I cant believe my baby is gone and I now have a toddle :)
We spent his birthday at the zoo. I wanted to do something fun for him and The UT Hogle Zoo is finally all the way done and has all the animals it was a nice day and I figured to take the advantage. The only downer for the day was he woke up with a cold. So he was not his usual laughing smiley self. It was hard to get him to smile in any pictures.

Birthday boy Isaiah, on our way to the Zoo

This Ape was loving Elijah, he was giving him kisses threw the glass

Sad, The monkey Elijah died this year. I remember seeing him as a kid.
Of course Elijah had to take a pic with the sign since they had the same name.

Birthday Ice cream

He wasn't feeling that great so he wanted to ride around in the stroller most of the time.

After the Zoo we met up with James mom and sister for a birthday dinner.

His Ice cream cake was bigger then him lol

Happy Birthday big boy! We love you so much.
