Happy Thanksgiving / Merry Christmas

This one is a bigger post I am throwing in November and December. Thanksgiving this year was the away year for the family. All my siblings go to there in-laws on the off year. Me and James don't really have a holiday schedule for the kids we just do whatever works. So the kids went to both houses.

Me and the munchkins on Thanksgiving.

Every year my family has been going down town to look at the temple lights and then go out to dinner just the adults. Its nice not having to chase kids around and just enjoy it.

I loved this fountain it did a light show and had fire coming out in the middle. It was pretty cool.

I'm so happy we got a lot of snow this year we have hardly seen any for a couple years and it was about time we got a lot. The kids enjoyed it too and said that it was sent just in time so Santa could drive his sleigh.

Its kind of dark and blurry but they were running around in it.

Christmas Eve we had our family party. We have dinner play games open some presents. My mom always has the grand kids act out the nativity scene while she reads the birth of Jesus. We took a picture with all the grandkids there are 19. Our family is getting big.

After the party I had the boys open there Christmas pjs and put some milk and cookies out for Santa. Then I told them I tracked santa on my phone it said he was getting close. So they literally ran to bed even Isaiah. That was the fastest I have seen them fall asleep.

I didn't get a lot of photos because I was recording it instead. Santa was pretty nice this year and got them what they asked for and then some. From movies to wii games, dinosaurs, legos, remote control monster trucks.  Noah got the ninja turtle set and Elijah got the Avengers set of action figures. They loved them.

After all the craziness of opening presents they played with there stuff all day. I spent my day putting toys and legos together I was pretty wore out by night time. It was a really good Christmas this year and I loved watching there excitement.

The big 3

Mr Isaiah had his birthday Monday and is no longer a baby he says. He is now a big boy! 3 years old already.  He is acting like a big boy too. His potty training is going really well. He is in underwear all day at daycare. And at home. I still put on a pull up if we go somewhere. He can talk and pronounce any word. Hes counting and doing abc's. He loves cars and trucks and loves to play supper heros with his brothers. He has also developed an attitude lol I think they all go threw it but hes got a pretty good one.

I wanted to take him to pick a pumpkin for his birthday and the place we go to just happened to be doing a grand opening. So there was face painting, balloons, petting zoo, a really cool slide, corn maze and a candy dive. We didn't do the face painting because of how long the line was but they were able to do the rest.

Isaiah picked a ninja turtle for his balloon

                                       Noah picked a sword

Elijah picked a ninja turtle also. All the balloons were popped before we left.

Going threw the corn maze.

This was a candy dive. They hid candy in the corn and the kids had to find it.

While his brothers were doing the slide Isaiah walked around and picked a pumpkin.

Noah and Elijah picked the same size ones as Isaiah so they would all have the same.

The slide was pretty fun. They went on it about 20 times.

Birthday and First day of Kindergarten!

The twins had a busy last couple of days. I don't have many pics just a couple from there first

day of kindergarten. Sunday the 23rd was the 5th birthday they turned the big 5! They

consider themselves big boys now. "so do I" They have grown so much and advanced so much

in the past year its been fun to watch. They each are so different  from each other and have

there own little personality's. Noah is getting very good at coloring staying in the lines he will

concentrate so hard just to make it perfect. He's very organized and likes to keep things the

way he likes it. I think he might be a little ocd but only on some things. He likes to play with

cars, dinosaurs, wrestlers, he loves stickers and coloring books. He is really good at throwing

and catching balls. He is a fast runner and is a monkey like his mom was.  His favorite super

hero is Spiderman. He is more sensitive out of the two his feelings get hurt way easily.

He is starting to get into video games "yes its already starting." He does

okay on with them he will play for a little while then get frustrated if he cant get very far and he

will give up and play with something different. They got a new Wii for there birthday and they

got the super Mario game. So they both have been enjoying that.

Elijah is my gamer kid. He is really good at it he picks up on things quick so he of course loved

his birthday present. He loves to play catch with his baseball and football he is really good at

throwing and catching. I think I will put them in t-ball next year. He is not into coloring as

much as Noah he will do it for a few minutes and get bored. He likes to play super hero's or

wrestle with Noah. His favorite hero is Batman and he also is obsessed with Michael Jackson

"he got that from me." Can you guess what he chose to be for Halloween.... MJ and I already

found him an awesome costume.  He is my tough guy he is very protective of both his brothers

and he likes to boss them both around but they listen to him. I have to remind him that he cant

act like the parent. I new when he was a baby that he was going to be very stubborn and he is.

He likes to do what he wants when he wants I have to be very patient with him a lot of the

times. They are both sweet boys.

Today was there first day of Kindergarten they were so excited to start that's all they could talk

about last week. I was kind of emotional though so I didn't take a lot of pictures I was too busy

crying. They did just fine though nether one of them was sad about me leaving so that made me

feel better. I think they are so use to me dropping them off at daycare that it was all just

 familiar to them know.

I really have some handsome little guys on my hands. They are going to break a lot of hearts!

I am so proud of them for doing so well at there first day of school. They said they loved it and

cant wait to go back.... excuse me while I go cry one last time lol  ;)

The Lake

We have been pretty busy over here. Work and activities. We did however take some time to go the the lake. It was a lot of fun. We went to Yuba with my family. The kids got to play in the water and go on a boat for the first time. They had a blast. It was a little windy and rained for a about a half hr. but for the rest of it it was nice. I also conquered my fear of cliff diving go me! lol

dentist, haircuts and school scheduls

I finally received the twins school schedules. They will be on track D and are on the AM. Although I am really happy about the time I don't like that they put them in the same class. I was wanting them to be in there own classes so they can pay attention better and build there social skills on there own. I will make sure for 1st grade they are in separate classes.

I usually am the one giving the kids there haircuts but there grandma wanted to give me a break and take them somewhere to do it. I was more then fine with that.

(None of them wanted to look at me for a picture)

Tuesday was the big dental day. I had both of the twins scheduled to get there teeth worked on. They had some cavities and the dentist said with there age they would want them to be worked on at primary childrens hospital because they would need to be put under. I of course was freaked out by the whole thing.

We got them checked in and waited about 2 hrs just to have them get there physicals done. The hospital was very busy since school is out and all the kids are coming in to get things done. After there physical the took them back one at a time to be worked on. Noah went first and they put him on the table and gave him some gas. As soon as he fell asleep I started crying "yes Im a baby" he did great and they ended up having to pull out his top molar that was broken so the tooth fairy was able to come to our house way earlier then usual.

Elijah was next and I cried with him also. I just cant help it there my babies and its a little scary but he did well too. Each took about an hr. and then they were taken to the recovery room. They both were a little cranky and really out of it. Noah said he felt sick but wanted to keep eating the slushy they gave him. He never threw up though so that was good. And Elijah he was not sick but he didn't want to talk to any one he was just quiet and he wouldn't say one word for about an hr.

                                (Noah's pulled tooth)

It was a very long day. We were there from 9-5 so after I got them home and fed them some scrambled eggs yogurt and some soft peaches and put them to bed. The next day they were pretty sore so I kept them home from daycare to recover. They are feeling much better now. Lets hope they don't have to do that again. I have threw out all the candy lol
