Cabin Trip

Memorial weekend I decided its been too long since I have been to my family's cabin. The kids are finally old enough that I am brave enough to take them somewhere like that to sleep over and keep an eye on them by myself. All three can be a bit much at times and three on one gets tough. My siblings and parents went as well so it was a full house.

The first night we went down the boys were so excited they kept me up all night tell about 3 in the morning. I kinda figured they would be wired and wouldn't want to sleep. The next morning we were all pretty tired and it was raining outside so everyone had to stay inside.

Elijah and Noah got to play the Wii for the first time. They played Mario Cart and just kept running into walls and going off road it was pretty funny to watch.

After the rain let up and the sun came out we all went out side to play on the three wheelers. It was pretty muddy but so worth it. My boys couldn't wait to go on rides they were asking about it all morning.

It rained off and on all day. While riding I had to stop and look at the rainbow.

When the kids were not riding they were playing in the mud or on the deck so they made there own fun in the crappy weather.

We had a kite up there and it literally stayed in the air all day because of the wind. we just left it up.

Elijah made a new best friend. My brother has a cute dog names mini and she took to Elijah really well so they were buddys the whole time.

One of the kids favorite things was the zip line the guys made.

While we were playing on the zip line we had a little wonderer come over to our cabin. A cute baby Antelope. The mom was no ware in sight so we got to pet him and feed him apples. He was so friendly and even let the dogs go near him.

After a little while we finally saw the mom and she just watched us with the baby and seemed okay with everything it was pretty weird. We picked him and and carried him to the road where the mom was and they went off together.

It was a pretty fun trip and I cant wait to go up there again.

Potty training and Preschool grads.

Its that time again. Potty training time. Isaiah used the potty for the first time April 15th. It was a pretty big deal at our house. The twins were clapping for him and everything. It will be nice to have no more diapers. It still will be a little while though he is going pee just fine but he wont go #2 yet. It took the other two a little while to get use to that also. I never realized just how fast things are going by. I have no more babies and soon the twins will start school life is just rolling right along. I have not received the twins schedule for school yet. They will be going to year round so they will have tracks.

They learned so many things in Preschool. I love how much they improved on writing there names.

I also noticed in there projects and work assignments how different they are from eachother. Noah is very neat and likes to do things tidy. Elijah not so much

Here is a project they did when they were learning about animals and they made a birds nest with eggs, I could tell who did what before I saw there names on them. lol

Im so proud of them for finishing preschool. Another chapter turned.

Easter Weekend

I took the day of Saturday and took the kiddos to the zoo. It was a nice day and figured they needed a fun day out. Its getting more fun and yet more challenging to take all three of the boys out to big places like that. They all love to run in different directions lol but they had a good time. I did not take photos this time really because I was too busy trying to enjoy being there and keeping an eye on them.

I did however get a photo of this big guy. He caught my attention when he charged at the glass and pounded on it with both hands at James I think he might have been a little irritated that day. He does look pretty upset.

Then he sat down and started tapping on this bucket. Poor guy I think he was wanting to get out side.

This is the only picture I got of one of the kids standing still for 2 seconds. The two lions are in the corner.

They had a Easter party at daycare you can tell there excitement lol. They also made rocket ships. I love how big Elijah's is. Isaiah didn't want to get in the picture go figure.

Easter morning the kids woke up at different times so it was a little different but they loved the fun stuff they got. I had a quiet evening with out them. They went to James parents house for dinner so it was just me for the night. Hanging out with my family was fun but missed the kiddos for sure, but they had a lot of fun and were spoiled for the day :)

Sunday fun day

I am done with this weird winter. We have had I think 3 little storms this whole winter and the rest of the time its been like 60-70 degrees. I am ready for summer now since winter was a no show.

The twins tried out there new bikes they got from Christmas yesterday. They were a little hesitant at first but they got the hang of it. At first they were telling me they needed gas to go, then they wanted to let me know what we should do if cars were to come down the road. The conversations I have with them are just getting more interesting and funny by the day. Isaiah is just so cute tagging along.

When did they get to be so big?

Noah was cracking me up. He had to keep getting gas lol he found an old license plat in the garage and said. "mom look I have one too, just like your car."

We also got some much needed auntie time. There aunt was in town from school this last week. They love spending time with her. They went to the aquarium with her during the week and then Saturday we met up with her for some ice cream.

(Elijah tried to swing and land on the slid... )

(It didn't turn out very well)

(Noah tried to copy him)

                                                               (And hurt his leg)

Isaiah joined in on the fun and even did the bigger slide. Such big boys.

This Christmas sickness decided to hit me and the kids :(  We all got the flu the weekend before Christmas. It was awful! I still have a cold for the end of it, but its almost gone. Finally! We did not see Santa this year but we did drive around looking at lights. We also did not make gingerbread houses this year but we did decorate some cute little Christmas trees.
