4 Years Old

Were to begin. My twins turned 4 years old on Saturday. Yes I said 4! Wow every one says it, but man has time flown by! They both have grown up so much in the last year. They are in preschool now in there daycare. There teacher mrs. Jen is so great with them. They love her.
I hate to say it but I am really happy the 3's are done. I thought terrible two's were bad. 2's do not even compare to 3's wow. "lets hope Isaiah is not as bad lol" They are starting to get better now. Not as many tantrums and I am seeing less toddler more little boys in them.

Saturday was very busy. There was a baptism and joint birthday parties. My sisters youngest little girl turned 1 last Monday and so we decided to have a party together on the twins birthday. And my brothers daughter was going to be baptized on the same day but in the morning. Busy day. Lots of pics here is goes.

I don't know how well you can see the second one but there was a double rainbow out while I was driving around on there birthday and it reminded me of when they were born. The day I took them home I remember being wheeled out side holding them and it had been raining and right when I went out side there was a huge double rainbow almost as if it were for them. Makes me smile to think back on that day and to see it again.

My cute little niece Meena in her beautiful dress that her mom made her. We all went to the park for some lunch after she was baptized.

After the park we ran home to get set up for the party.

My sister thought it would be fun to have some bouncy houses set up. It was so much fun for all the kids. And there was a toddler one set up as well for the smaller kids.

(Isaiah was not happy to go into the bouncy house right after his nap.)

Next up was singing and cake time. I got them each a small cake to blow out there own.

After the cake fun we headed over to James parents house for another cake and presents.

Elijah was acting like a little stinker and wouldn't take photos with out pouting.

Grandma got him to smile in this one haha

Happy 4th birthday my sweet boys!

Good day gone bad

Don't you hate when you go out and have a blast, then next thing you know your at the ER... haha well yes that happened Saturday evening. Took the kids swimming and had a blast. As we were leaving the locker room after getting dressed my poor Elijah opened the big steel doors they have there right into his foot. He panicked for a minute and I had no clue what was going on until I looked at his foot that was bleeding all over the place. He didn't cry he just was in shock saying "mom I need to go to the Dr.!" After the first aid crew at the swimming pool cleaned him up a little I looked at it more closely and noticed how deep it was and that he would for sure need stitches.

We headed over to the ER and he was a little trooper the whole time. He never cried and he just kept saying the Dr needs to fix his foot.

                                                        Ouch!

Waiting for his foot to get numb, watching cartoons.

6 Stitches later! He sat there and watched the Dr put them in. He was so interested in what the Dr was doing. He also doesn't want mom or dad touching his foot he only wants the Dr too. It took some convincing for him to let me change his bandages.

He is all smiles now that his foot is fixed! Stitches have to be in for 10 days. He is bummed out already that he cant play with any water and he has to be really careful and not play hard. Noah is being really great with the whole thing. Once I showed him the stitches he has been very careful around him. He is such a brave strong little man.

4th of July Weekend 2014

Long busy weekend but really fun. Friday for the 4th me and the kids were in a parade with my mother in law for Sandy city. She does all kinds of promotion marketing and politics. So her project was to help promote the next Sandy Sheriff. She thought it would be fun for me and the kids to ride with her in the parade. They had fun waving at people and Yelling vote for Jake lol.

After we decided to go home and play out side for a while tell fireworks started. I had to occupy them so they wouldnt get tired. So sparklers and poppers were the trick.

"Isaiah lost his shoe some how during this"

Fireworks were a lot of fun. I didn't get pictures kinda occupied keeping the kids all together but they loved them.

Saturday We went down to Little Cotten Wood Creek. It was way nice up there and not too hot. There is nothing better then to go up in the canyon I love it.

They got pretty wet and muddy up there but it was too much fun not to.
Sunday the first half was way lazy. We all were pretty tired from being out in the sun. Later on we decided to have a water balloon fight in the back yard. That was a success I didnt know if they would actually try and throw them at each other or just the ground. They got me pretty good to.
Now back to our routine.
